Vitamins, Part of Solution – Not The Problem

Have you ever heard someone say they think their vitamins make them ill? Then with a little investigation you find your friend takes one sporadically, every few months at best.

Our bodies know when they’re missing out on something, though we’re sometimes not so hot at interpreting the signals. Still, some subconscious pull – maybe the slightest bit of sniffles or a general sense of feeling less than spry reminds us of the existence of those all-powerful things: multivitamins. But consistency is paramount; a vitamin here and there isn’t giving the thing a fair chance.  

It’s a fact that eating well is important, yet individual factors such as cooking methods and a body’s own system affects the absorbsion of proper nutrients. Plus no matter how “good” we are the average person’s diet can never truly cover all the needs. And it’s really a little thing to have to do, yet with so many rewards and benefits.

A reputable multivitamin can help boost your immune system, aid in digestion and absorbsion, help your skin, hair and nails, improve eyesight, raise your energy levels, and so much more. So why don’t we take them consistently? Are we gluttons for punishment or just easily distracted? Whatever it is we’re denying ourselves a simple and effective way to help look after our bodies. However you do it, be it with a calendar reminder or by having some with you always, be sure to look out for yourself and take your vitamins. If your beloved dog or cat needed one, would you do it?
